WHAT ARE SPECIAL INSPECTIONS?
Inspection of selected materials, equipment, installation, fabrication, erection or placement of components and connections, to ensure compliance with approved construction documents and reference standards as required by the NYC Building code and its reference standards.
Lilker Associates Consulting Engineers, PC has been providing multi-disciplinary engineering in the construction industry for over 30 years. As a Registered NYC Special Inspection Agency since 2012, Lilker Special Inspections (LSI), is comprised of a fully integrated team of licensed mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and commissioning engineers working with our Special Inspectors to provide a single source of service from conception to completion. This includes any continuing functions and renovations required throughout the life of your building.
LSI is committed to going above and beyond in delivering the Special Inspections necessary during the construction process, verifying that work is being performed in accordance with approved plans and specifications. Our goal is to stream line the sign off process so that clients may obtain their TCOs as easily and efficiently as possible.
LSI is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, with access to all major subway lines in NYC, allowing for quick dispatching of inspectors to the job sites.
LSI’s Director of Special Inspections is Chris DiLallo who, since 2011, has been leading, overseeing and managing the full range of Special Inspections projects including residential buildings, offices ,restaurants, high end retails spaces, hospital renovations, schools, IT rooms and data centers.
