A member of Lilker’s leadership team since 1989, Serge Budzyn serves as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the firm providing on-going project leadership as well as managing internal operations. This part of his job includes empowering staff to grow professionally, helping to create a culture of openness, and fostering a sense of entrepreneurship in the office. He shares overall responsibility for the firm’s day to day operations, directing, administering and coordinating the activities of all departments, and is involved in long range strategic planning and quality control standards development and implementation. Serge earned a BEEE from the Cooper Union, and is an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York), and has chaired the organization’s Metro NYC Electrical Codes Committee for many years. He also serves on a New York City Electrical Code Amendment Panel.
