Lilker provided MEP/FP services for a new 50,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art clinical testing and pathology medicine laboratory in Woodland Park, NJ. The site features a core lab, microbiology, molecular and anatomic pathology departments. Work also included a variety of new laboratories, offices, a cold room, a mechanical room, IT room, new air handling units and hydronic system designs. The lab provides an expanded testing menu for Summit Health providers – from routine tests to allergy, autoimmune, and urine drug toxicology as well as oncologic support. Extensive research was done to ensure the biosafety cabinets and fume hoods were exhausted, as per code. The highly automated testing site brings optimal quality control and faster test turnaround times for results – delivering high quality, value-based health care to residents in New Jersey and the New York metropolitan area.
