Lilker Associates has worked with Kings County Hospital Center for many years, completing a wide range of projects. Recent examples include: comprehensive rehabilitation and modernization of all ten passenger elevators in Building A, B and C, and four passenger elevators at Building ‘T’, including complete power upgrade of primary electrical power and upgrade of the emergency power for the new elevators; MEP/FP design for conversion of the existing morgue at KCHC to a 10,000 sq. ft. storage facility; MEP/FP design of the 7,000 sq. ft., Pre-Surgical Testing (PST) department; a new 8,500 sq. ft HIV clinic administrative space located on the east wing of the ninth floor of E Building; and ancillary support space in a medical office environment. Lilker has completed existing Fire Alarm System Legalization of total area of 1.3 mil SQFT space for Buildings A, B, C & T.
