These projects for the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, required the design and replacement of the existing mechanical systems serving the Aircraft Control Towers, Administration Buildings and Computer Telecommunications Support Facilities. Redesigned and replaced were the existing heating boiler plant, all air conditioning systems and all controls and equipment with new direct digital controls. The project involved detailed phasing and planning to replace the equipment in critical areas within the existing operating facilities.
