Required Experience:

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated engineer with experience in the design of HVAC systems for institutional projects – especially K-12 schools.
Qualifications/Skills include:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year institution
  • 8-15 years of design experience
  • Experience on NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) projects required
  • P.E. license preferred, but not required
  • Proficient with the use of Trane Trace 700 or 3D Plus, AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent technical skills; strong communication, analytical, technical writing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated engineer with experience in the design of HVAC systems for institutional projects – especially K-12 schools.
Qualifications/Skills include:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year institution
  • 3-7 years of experience designing commercial infrastructure and fit-out projects
  • Design and coordination of ductwork and piping systems, layout of mechanical equipment rooms, performing load calculations, and providing construction administration services
  • Experience in Airport Terminal design a plus, but not required
  • EIT or PE license desirable
  • Proficient with the use of AutoCAD, Revit and Trane Trace 700 or 3D Plus.
  • Excellent technical skills; strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a highly collaborative team environment

Lilker Associates is looking for talented mid-level and senior electrical engineers in the various design sectors.                         

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of Electrical Design and industry standards of all building electrical system types; specifically on electrical service upgrades, power distribution, generator infrastructure, fire alarm systems, lighting control and low voltage systems, etc.
  • Prepare design calculations, due diligence reports, specifications, agency filing and construction documents for projects.
  • Knowledge of all applicable building and electrical codes.
  • Attend owner/contractor meetings at construction sites to monitor progress and approve shop drawings.
  • Prepare observation reports, minutes of meeting, utility load letters, punch lists and resolve field conditions.
  • Respond to governmental agency comments.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work with a team and on other assignments as required.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering

Required Experience:

  • 4 – 12+ years’ experience in electrical design.  Knowledge of specific airport terminal, NYC School Construction Authority (SCA), Infrastructure, high rise building, various governmental agencies and healthcare design experience a plus
  • EIT or NYS Professional Engineering License preferred
    LEED Accreditation and project management capabilities a plus.
  • Familiar with production in MS Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit.

The candidate will support the marketing team’s proposal and content generation, marketing material maintenance and support business development activities.

Required Experience:

Qualifications/Skills include:
  • Develop qualifications and proposal/fee submissions
  • Prepare presentations
  • Manage scheduling, production and delivery of marketing materials with quick turnaround times
  • Maintain and track proposals and fees and keep log
  • Coordinate proposal deliverables and walkthroughs and follow up
  • Manage project portfolio of work
  • Organize and maintain marketing data base
  • Develop materials to support business development activities
  • Assist with new hire relationships and materials
  • Establish relationships with institutions for talent acquisition
  • Photograph job sites in construction and finished projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • Able to work well individually and as a team
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills a must
  • Strong command of English grammar, composition, spelling and proofreading skills
  • Marketing experience in the A/E professional services industry a plus
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, journalism, design or other related field
