Lilker Energy Solutions Joins NYC Accelerator Program

Lilker Associates Consulting Engineers is proud to announce that the firm’s energy services division, Lilker Energy Solutions (LES), has been accepted in the NYC Accelerator Service Provider Program. LES will be providing energy auditing and commissioning services to building owners through the city-sponsored program to aid in compliance with local laws and policies that promote a cleaner, greener, more energy efficient New York City.

How NYC Accelerator Works

Building emissions currently account for 68% of New York City’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The program—free to building owners and developers—aims to accelerate attainment of the City’s clean and green goal by providing technical guidance in the form of resources, training and one-on-one expert counsel to building owners and industry professionals to identify building upgrades that will improve building performance, increase energy savings, reduce carbon emissions, and reduce water consumption across New York City’s building stock.

Building Eligibility

Any privately owned, new or existing building greater than 5,000 square feet in New York City is eligible to participate in the program. This includes, but is not limited to, multifamily (market and affordable) housing, commercial and industrial buildings, private institutional and healthcare facilities.
