Design services for this 297,000 sq. ft. building comprised a comprehensive rehabilitation of HVAC and electrical systems. The project included the replacement of air handling equipment, HVAC controls, heat exchanges, pumps and associated mechanical equipment. The project also included construction of a new central chiller plant and cooling tower, replacement of primary electrical switchgear and upgraded emergency generation capacity for the building. Lilker developed phasing plans for change over and replacement of SAC units for chilled water air handlers, and developed a coordination/phasing plan for replacement of primary electrical systems, minimizing the impact to the campus operations.
Lilker EMO performed whole building energy modeling, comprehensive energy analysis, and assessment of building systems and configurations for the design and construction of the Beekman Avenue apartment and hotel building.
