NYC Human Resources Administration
The Banknote Building
New York, NY
New York City’s Human Resources Administration has moved into a complex of four connected buildings that make up the BankNote complex. The 400,000 sq. ft. complex, built in 1909, was recently renovated with full MEP/FP systems designed by Lilker Associates. HRA occupies three floors at the BankNote, once the location of presses that printed currency, postage stamps, war bonds and stock certificates for nearly 76 years.
Lilker Associates provided a full infrastructure redesign and upgrade of existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for the Human Resources Administration. Lilker Associates Technology Solutions Group is providing Technology Engineering services for coordination of the existing building structured cabling infrastructure, telecommunications infrastructure and security systems as required to support the HRA requirements.
