Energy Audits
Bel Air, MD
To determine the energy efficiency of 22 of its buildingsā€”libraries, community centers, warehouses shops and offices, Hartford County contracted Lilker EMO to perform an ASHRAE Level I energy analysis and preliminary energy conservation assessment. Audits included a building site inspection and review with building operators, analysis of utility consumption and energy-end use, identification of low/no cost energy conservation measures, engineering and economic analysis, and identification of capital intensive energy conservation measures that would result in savings of 1.4 million kWh of electricity and more than 62,000 therms of natural gas per year. Utility costs would be reduced by $217,508 with a 1.6 year simple payback.
