This project required adding new 55,000 sq. ft. building addition and adjacent 7,550 sq. ft. addition to the existing 220,000 sq. ft. landmarked building. Two story addition includes retail space, loading and receiving. Renovation and adaptive reuse of the existing building required 220,000 sq. ft. of alterations to façade, floors subcellar through two were redeveloped to maximize retail space. Floors three through seven were converted into residential apartments including renovation of an existing lobby for dedicated residential use, all in compliance with Landmarks Preservation Commission.
