Lilker’s work with CAA began in 2012 with new offices on three floors at 405 Lexington Avenue—the Chrysler Building—consisting of approximately 69,000 sq. ft. on each of the floors. Lilker Associates provided MEP/FP, Security and IT Design services for the private offices, open workstations, conference rooms, group rooms, screening room, two Tele-presence rooms, lunch room/pantries, three IDF closets, a server room, a mail/ copy center and support areas. Lilker’s Technology Solutions Group designed the MDF on one floor to house file servers, LAN/WAN equipment, telephone equipment, and horizontal cabling. The MDF utilized multimode fiber optic cabling, high pair count UTP cabling, and Category-6 Cabling to connect to the two secondary IDF’s and to the Telephone Room in the Cellar for incoming Service. RG-11U Coax cabling was used throughout to accommodate the numerous TV locations. One IDF was created on each remaining floor. The IDFs served as the cabling distribution termination points for all horizontal cabling. The horizontal cabling infrastructure design utilized Category-6 cabling to support voice and data services. Currently our work with CAA includes another 17,000 sq. ft. of interior fit-out. Lilker is providing MEP/ FP services, IT and Security design services through our Technology Solutions Group (TSG), and lighting through our Lilker Lighting Group (LLG).
