The modern Steinman Hall underwent a $65 million renovation project that included revamping the Grove School of Engineering, the only public school of engineering in New York City. Lilker completely renovated two floors of Steinman Hall, including the fifth floor biomedical offices and labs, comprising approximately 4,500 sq. ft., with special A/C, exhaust, lighting control and water filtration systems for animal lab and housing areas as well as integrated lighting, power, water and gas services provided for state-of-the-art lab tables; and the 4th floor labs, comprising approximately 8,450 sq. ft., for the implementation of new bio-engineering teaching laboratories with special exhaust systems provided for fume hoods.
Marshak Science Building
For the 3,644 sq.ft. CILES Lab Lilker is providing new IT cabling, AV smartboard technology, HVAC and updated plumbing and electric. In association with the Continuous Innovative Learning Environments in STEM initiative, 2 Earth Science teaching labs will be renovated and a new prep room and 2 new breakout rooms will be added.For the Horvitz Lab Lilker is providing MEP/FP, IT cabling, AV smartboard technology for new Behavioral Neuroscience Research Lab.
LaGuardia Community College
LIlker is providing new associated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for the complete renovation of 7,200 sq. ft. of biology labs and prep areas.
