The Boathouse at Prospect Park
One of the first buildings in New York City to be declared an historic landmark.
This NYC landmark structure originally built in 1904 and listed on the National Register of Historic Spaces required HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems renovations. This project was awarded the Excellence in Historic Preservation Award in 2003 by the Preservation League of NY State. This public building houses a park visitor center and a café. It includes the first urban Audubon Center with interactive exhibits, a nature theater and a learning lab.
