Lilker Principal Dave Tanenbaum heads up the Mechanical Department for the firm, providing leadership and project management on large scale projects under his purview.

With 20 years of experience in mechanical building system design and construction, Mr. Tanenbaum has worked on the full range of building types—on new construction and alterations projects—for corporate, commercial, transportation, municipal and institutional facilities.

A member of the Lilker team since 2001, Mr. Tanenbaum took the lead on such outstanding projects as the Liberty National Golf Course, ad agency Ogilvy & Mather’s 550,000-sq.-ft. LEED CI Gold headquarters, and major renovations and MEP upgrades to Delta Airlines’ terminals at JFK Airport. His prior experience includes significant transportation projects, as well as commercial and retail design.

Mr. Tanenbaum holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York. A licensed engineer in New York State, he is a member of ASHRAE and was an active member on the technical committee responsible for developing the 2008 New York City Mechanical Code.
